Clothes Closet

The Beaverton School District’s Clothes Closet provides free clothing for students in grades K-12 for families with limited income.  Volunteers from parent groups and the community operate the Clothes Closet.  The Jacob Wismer PTO makes an annual donation to the Clothes Closet to support this valuable program.

Volunteers will work together a couple of times per school year to gather clothes from the school’s lost and found bins. Clothes need to be clean, washed and sorted to prepare them for delivery to the Clothes Closet. Each school sends volunteers to work at the Clothes Closet for one day assigned by the District. (The PTO also provides a financial contribution on behalf of Jacob Wismer each year.)
